Before you can fix anything, you need to know what is wrong. You can take a few easy steps yourself to see if you can identify the problem.
Step 1: Is your bot on IRC?
Join the IRC server of the site you are connected to and type: /whois your_bot_name_here
You will then get a response telling you whether your bot is in any channels, and if so in which channels. Your bot should be in the so called announce channel for that network, check with them which channel that is exactly as we do not know this. If you bot is not in the correct channel, but still not downloading any/all files, then you probably have an error in your setup.
Step 2: Is your bot seeing the announces?
Once you have confirmed that your bot is online and rocking about, you can check whether or not autodl-irssi sees the announces. For that to happen you need to up the debug level to 5. You can do this by going into the autodl-irssi preferences, then click on advanced tab. Edit the number in your debug field to '5' and be sure the box next to debug is ticked.
With the next step you need to be careful. You will need to add a filter with just '*' as release to hit on. This will make autodl-irssi download **every release** that is announced. As you can imagine a lot can go wrong here, so you need to stay with the plugin while doing this. Once a new torrent gets announced you will what exactly is happening in the autodl-irssi tab in your web-client. Be sure to keep your web-client open and the autodl-irssi tab selected.
Read through the information in your client. It will alert you to any issues that might have snuck into your configuration. If you are unsure how to solve any errors then contact your seedbox provider to have them fix it for you.
